About:
Welcome to the 22nd International Colloquium on Magnetic Films and Surfaces (ICMFS), which will be held for the second time in Poland, this time in Cracow (Krakow in Polish), on 12-17 July 2015. The 22nd International Colloquium on Magnetic Films and Surfaces (ICMFS-2015) is a satellite conference to the International Conference on Magnetism to be held on 5-10 July 2015 in Barcelona, Spain (www.icm2015.org). ICMFS-2015 continues the tradition of previous colloquiums: 1st 1964 London (UK) 2nd 1966 Jena (Germany) 3rd 1967 Cambridge (USA) 4th 1970 Prague (Czech Republik) 5th 1972 Mt. The Colloquium aims at exchange of new results and ideas for advancing the field of magnetism at surfaces, interfaces, in micro- and nanostructures as well as of spin-dependent phenomena. There are no parallel sessions. Besides oral presentations of invited and selected contributed papers, there will be a space for poster discussions. You are very welcome to Poland! Poland is a country with more than thousand years of recorded history, rich and varied, now fully democratic and a member of the European Union. You are very welcome to Cracow! Cracow is the second largest and one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Poland. The history of the city dates back to the 7th century. We cordially invite you to join ICMFS-2015!
