How can I register?

The easiest way to register on BaseConnect is enter your email address on our homepage www.baseconnect.org, go to your email inbox and click the activation link in email message. It will redirect you to our registration process. To complete your registration, follow displayed messages.

How can I get started?

To learn more about the functionality of BaseConnect you can take a guide which can help you discover possibilities and functionalities on BaseConnect. Click on cog in top right corner and choose "Tour guide" from dropdown menu. After that follow the instructions displayed on screen and have fun discovering BaseConnect.

What does it mean to follow a page?

You can follow a page by clicking "Follow" button (at the top, under cover photo). Once you do this you will see post, comments, uploaded photos from the page you followed on your private user feed. You can always "unfollow" the page by clicking the button "Followed". Once you have un-followed you will not see any updates from this page.

How do I join a student organization?

There are two ways of joining to student organization.

You can search for student organization you want to join (using search bar at the top of page). Once you find it you can a send request (click blue arrow next to "Message" button and click "Join"). If the administrator confirms your request you will be automatically added to the student organization and appear in "Team" section.

Other way is to accept an invitation sent from student organization administration. A user who creates a student organization profile can send invitations to other users to join the team.

Can anyone create an event?

Yes. Anyone can create an event.

What if I am an alumni member?

If you are an alumni member of student organization you can send request to join your student organization. Find student organization you want to join and send a request to profile administrator (click the blue arrow next to "Message" button and click "Join"). If the administrator confirms your request you will be automatically added to the student organization and appear in "Alumni" section.

How to create Student Organization profile?

To do this click on cog located in top right side of page and chose "Create Organization" and fill in all required fields related to your organization like Type, Name, About, Description, Website, City, Country, Founded, Skill 1, Skill 2, Skill 3 and choose profile and background photo. If you are already a member of any student organization - you can do it also by going to "Organization" tab on left and chose the same option "Create organization". Once you do this you can invite your friends to join your organization.

How to create project?

Only student organization members can create project.

If you are a member of a student organization - click on "Organization" tab on the left and then chose "Create project" button. Fill in all required fields like description, time, location etc. and start promote your project to others!

How to create event?

To do this click on cog in top right corner, then choose "Create Event" and fill in all required fields related to your event. You can to it also by going to "Events" tab on left and chose the same option "Create event". Once you do this you can invite your friends to attend your event.
